Indigo Prawn
Tell us a little about you and your brand
I love to paint prawns and they have been a reoccurring image during my artistic career. I lived in Singapore and the company began after creating an image for a friend to remind her of her time in Asia. My designs are mainly hand painted in ink or linocut prints, with the images reflecting various aspects of local Asian culture and the Sea, another of my passions.
My work is clean, simple and bright, underlining my love of colour. This is reflected in my homeware range too.
Who or what inspires you?
I take my inspiration from by living in Asia, a love of the sea, nature and of course the colours of the world. ” I love using my creativity to create great products in colours that bring a little happiness to any home.”
