Tell us a little about you and your brand
A long time passion for a beautiful scarf and trips to India is what brought about SookiTwist. I was looking for a new challenge having worked as a property search agent for many years and when I saw all the gorgeousness on our travels I knew I'd found it. I also knew that there had to be something special about the pieces I chose and it was important that every aspect was transparent. I launched the business mid 2020 (thanks covid) with fingers crossed but now have some really lovely customers who must surely have as many scarves as I do!
Who or what inspires you?
I am constantly inspired by all the other small business owners I meet. It's not always an easy path but most are happy to share their knowledge, offer words of encouragement and enjoy a laugh. There is a real sense of community.
Which other brands do you love?
A small brand, Nostara, was one I came across when starting out. Nicky seems to be constantly on the road with boundless energy. Plus her candles are amazing.
