Having spent many years running a joint venture in India, Richard was fortunate to experience much of the country. His partner joined him on several occasions, and together they discovered a deep affection for India — its colour, its chaos, and its people. The cities’ vibrancy, the sensory overload, and the endless surprises around every corner left a lasting impression.

Both have always shared a passion for beautiful scarves, and after being captivated by India’s remarkable fabrics and craftsmanship, they decided to turn that passion into a business. Aware of the country’s stark inequalities, they were determined to make a positive impact, however small, by sourcing exclusively from conscious and ethical producers.

Most of the collection’s pieces are handmade from start to finish, with many being entirely unique — true ‘one of a kind’ creations. Each is crafted by skilled artisans using techniques and traditions passed down through generations, weaving stories into every scarf and shawl.
