Sooki Twist

Having spent many years running a joint venture in India, Richard was fortunate to experience much of the country. His partner joined him on several occasions, and together they discovered a deep affection for India — its colour, its chaos, and its people. The cities’ vibrancy, the sensory overload, and the endless surprises around every corner left a lasting impression.

Both have always shared a passion for beautiful scarves, and after being captivated by India’s remarkable fabrics and craftsmanship, they decided to turn that passion into a business. Aware of the country’s stark inequalities, they were determined to make a positive impact, however small, by sourcing exclusively from conscious and ethical producers.

Most of the collection’s pieces are handmade from start to finish, with many being entirely unique — true ‘one of a kind’ creations. Each is crafted by skilled artisans using techniques and traditions passed down through generations, weaving stories into every scarf and shawl. Only the finest natural materials are chosen, and every meticulous stitch reflects hours, days, or even weeks of dedicated work. Supporting such craftsmanship helps preserve livelihoods and sustain these artisanal communities for years to come.

Some designs are bold and contemporary, others more traditional, yet all are timeless works of art. They can be worn year-round, adding a splash of colour and individuality to any outfit. Perfectly imperfect, each piece carries its own character — a mark of authenticity and a testament to the hands that created it.
