Malek's journey began with a deep love for Tunisia, her home country, where craft is a way of life and beauty is woven into the everyday. I grew up surrounded by handmade objects: woven baskets that came with us to the market, soft cotton foutas carried to the hammam, and ceramic pieces that brought warmth and soul into the home.

Each piece held stories of skill, patience, and tradition — and I’ve carried those stories with me ever since.
