A beautiful 19th century oil on canvas, depicting a serene lake with little row boats. The colours of the sunset are glorious - beautiful ochres, browns and greens and the paint has a wonderful timeworn crackled effect. I love the shape too. It is an idyllic scene and calming painting for any room. It is initialed at the bottom left and there is some wear and tear and scratches. I do love the faded beauty and it will look beautiful propped up on a shelf or on an easel or simply hung.

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.
