Handwoven from natural iraca palm in the artisan town of Usiacurí, our Camelia Placemat forms part of CasaLatina's Organic Shapes Capsule, alongside the Cayena and Hoja Palma designs. Sculpted in the silhouette of a camellia flower, it brings graceful symmetry and quiet drama to the table.

Its petalled form is shaped over the traditional internal wire structure characteristic of Usiacurí craftsmanship, allowing artisans to curve the palm fibres while keeping lasting structure and durability.

Presented in a rich deep terracotta, Camelia adds warmth and depth and is particularly suited to smaller tables or layered settings. Lightweight, sustainably sourced and entirely handwoven, it frames our hand-painted plates and bowls perfectly. International shipping available.

Yes - we love sending our community’s work out into the world! Please note that customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. Most brands are currently not shipping to the US due to the changes in the customs charges as these are now paid at source. Please email at shop@thecuratedstore.co.uk to confirm before ordering.

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.
