These stoneware clay match striker pots look good and work hard. They are robust and designed to be used for many years. Each striker pot is hand made, dip glazed in a selection of glazes and comes complete with a striker pad on the side. They are filled with extra long matches.

These match striker pots look great by the fireplace, on a coffee table, or in the kitchen, much prettier than a box of matches!

These pots are made by hand, in small batches, by me at my studio in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

this item is refillable using Bryant & May extra long kitchen matches (save the striker on the side of the box to refresh your striker)
each item varies slightly as the clay is hand shaped, hand glazed and kiln fired at high temperatures

Yes - we love sending our community’s work out into the world! Please note that customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. Most brands are currently not shipping to the US due to the changes in the customs charges as these are now paid at source. Please email at shop@thecuratedstore.co.uk to confirm before ordering.

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.

If this happens. Please contact us right away with photos so we can put things right. Every brand we work with is independent, so we handle each issue personally and with care.

Yes, absolutely! Many of our brands who have popped up with us now feature on our website. We love it when customers continue to support our brands once they have moved out of the Store at the end of their month.
