If you've never lit a fire with a Grenadier you have been missing out! They are an absolute must for anyone who spends their winters battling the British weather.

Originally made in the sixties, the award winning Grenadier Electric Firelighter was revived by its current manufacturers in the late eighties. They guarantee that it will light any solid fuel fire in minutes. Its secret lies in it powerful, concentrated heat. The fuel quickly reaches burning point, without having to use paper, kindling or firelighters.

The Grenadier has a versatile stand which is easily adjustable to the correct height and angle for most fires. It can also be used in the summer for barbecues and firepits.

This wonderfully old school video shows the Grenadier in its full glory. Brilliant.
