I started working on a full apron so that I would have exactly what I needed in a big sturdy baking apron - and this is what we have, and it keeps improving over time as we fine tune the elements that make this a truly great apron. Yes - we love sending our community’s work out into the world! Please note that customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. Most brands are currently not shipping to the US due to the changes in the customs charges as these are now paid at source. Please email at shop@thecuratedstore.co.uk to confirm before ordering.

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.

If this happens. Please contact us right away with photos so we can put things right. Every brand we work with is independent, so we handle each issue personally and with care.

Yes, absolutely! Many of our brands who have popped up with us now feature on our website. We love it when customers continue to support our brands once they have moved out of the Store at the end of their month.

Our business has grown from our love of antique and vintage heritage textiles.
The sourcing of antique textiles has been our business for many years and it has allowed us to supply beautiful materials to be used in homes, film and theatre.

Mistress of Linen has grown from that first idea of making a bag out of vintage textiles to now a range includes more bag designs, aprons, clothing and luxurious home comforts.

Everything we do is very personal and our designs are the result of careful thought. We only make products we would want to own and use. All are made from antique or vintage textiles carefully selected to blend together and extend the life of the material. Often we have only enough of a particular fabric to make just one item so many of our products are unique.

We are proud that we make our pieces in England and our team of seamstresses are passionate about what we stand for. They understand the quality and heritage of the material we use and their care to quality and detail is reflected in the products we produce.
