The Story

Taking inspiration from a 19th Century Turkish Ottoman embroidery, at Clothsmith we have reworked the design into a striking and versatile piece. As soon as we saw the original embroidery we fell in love with both the flowers and colours used, and it was immediately obvious that it would make a wonderful addition to the collection. Embroidery during the Ottoman era was considered to be luxurious, featuring distinctive floral motifs as illustrated in this design.

Yes - we love sending our community’s work out into the world! Please note that customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. Most brands are currently not shipping to the US due to the changes in the customs charges as these are now paid at source. Please email at shop@thecuratedstore.co.uk to confirm before ordering.

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.

If this happens. Please contact us right away with photos so we can put things right. Every brand we work with is independent, so we handle each issue personally and with care.

Yes, absolutely! Many of our brands who have popped up with us now feature on our website. We love it when customers continue to support our brands once they have moved out of the Store at the end of their month.
