Hand-painted in the workshops of Carmen del Viboral, Colombia — a town celebrated for its centuries-old tradition of freehand ceramic painting. Each Rim Bread Plate is shaped, glazed and finished entirely by hand, with a single slim band of colour painted around the rim and the rest of the piece left clean and white.

Sized for bread, butter, tapas or as an elegant under-plate, the Rim design brings a quiet, contemporary touch to the table. Because every piece is hand-painted, small variations in the line and tone of the rim are part of its character — no two are exactly alike.

Yes - we love sending our community’s work out into the world! Please note that customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. Most brands are currently not shipping to the US due to the changes in the customs charges as these are now paid at source. Please email at shop@thecuratedstore.co.uk to confirm before ordering.

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.

If this happens. Please contact us right away with photos so we can put things right. Every brand we work with is independent, so we handle each issue personally and with care.

Yes, absolutely! Many of our brands who have popped up with us now feature on our website. We love it when customers continue to support our brands once they have moved out of the Store at the end of their month.
