Excuse the pun, but this Recipe Notebook really is the cherry on top of my year!

I’m all about using your good notebooks everyday, and enjoying using them, and that same spirit has followed through in the design and development of this notebook - something that has been on my ‘to-design’ list for a very very long time. And fortunately now I’ve found the small business to collaborate with to bring my ideas to life! 

Ready to be filled with all your best recipes - from your grandma’s best biscuits to that viral recipe from TikTok - this notebook can be permanently to hand and ready to help you cook up a storm. 

Featuring hand-drawn motifs with fruits from every season, this recipe book has been designed with practicality at the forefront (as well as colour of course).  The hardback cover gives your notebook rigidity for when you’re propping it open to use, but even with the binding it’s not too oversized or bulky to be awkward on your bookshelf.  

The cover is full-colour printed with the title in gold foil, and inside the covers you’ll find a conversion table (front) and envelope for clippings (back).  As with my other notebooks, the first page is a monochrome continuation of the cover artwork, with space to add a name, gift message etc so no need for first page fear.  Following that are 4 Contents pages ready for you to fill in, and then 100 double page spreads for taking notes of all the best recipes you’ve come across that you want to keep permanently to hand.  All the inside pages are all a sturdy 100gsm, just like my other notebooks, so they’ll hold up well to inky pens you might write or draw with and make sure this really is a practical, long-lasting notebook. 

The finishing touches are the gold ribbon page marker, so you can always find your favourite straight away, and the brass spiral binding and in addition to the gold foiling on the cover this notebook will always feels a little bit special when you get it out to use it. 

This is a recipe notebook meant to go through life with you, and as such makes a wonderful present, whether it’s for a student who’s embarking on life away from home, someone’s who just got a new dream kitchen, or the family chef so they can finally write down their culinary secrets. 

And what makes this one extra special is not just hand-drawn artwork on the cover,  and on the inside pages.  It’s been made by hand too, by the very aptly named Stationery Godmother, another female-owned small stationery business.
