This is a very pretty vintage French bowl which has red floral transfers around the top of the bowl. It is suggested that the bowl dates back to 1920-1950's.

The crazing visible on the glaze is a network of fine cracks that occur when the glaze and the ceramic body contract at different rates during cooling, this is a common characteristic of older fired ceramics.
