A pair of charming vintage hand-painted French lamp shades with a crackle finish made from paper and metal. Hand-painted floral motifs, particularly daisies and cornflowers are common in folk art from the French countryside. Each small shade has a bar across the top from which hangs a small chain. The price is for the pair.

French Empire style lampshades are characterized by their truncated conical shape which was popular in the 19th century. This style is often associated witih French Provincial decor, blending rustic charm with formal silhouettes.
