Lennart Spong was a Swedish draughtsman, painter and sculptor. He studied from 1938 at various art schools in Sweden and Italy, practicing drawing and painting and to a lesser extent as a portrait sculptor. He made a name for himself as an expressive draughtsman in ink, with studies ranging from models and faces to richly figured square scenes and interiors. He exhibited in various locations in Sweden both solo and with groups. He was awarded the Östergötland County Council's scholarship in 1959 and 1963 as well as the Carin Nilson scholarship in 1963. His art mostly consists of figures, cityscapes and landscapes working in oil, ink and pencil, as well as sculptures.
