DESCRIPTION

We are immensely excited to introduce our limited edition travel collection, in collaboration with Sandstorm Kenya!

Sandstorm have been making bags in Nairobi for over 20 years. Inspired by the beauty of our country and the strength and ingenuity of the Kenyan people.

This full leather carry-on size duffle is perfect for overnight stays, everyday adventures or even trips to the gym. Each bag is meticulously handmade using Kenyan materials whenever possible, with our personal touch of hand-beaded detail on both ends of the bag.

It closes with a robust YKK brass zip, and the brass trigger hooks on the detachable shoulder strap fix to the bag with d-rings hand-cast for us by local artisans in Kenya from recycled brass.

THE LEATHER: Pull-up leathers are aniline leathers that have been treated with oil and are made from high quality hides. Their natural markings are visible and provide a distressed look which is part of its charm.

Yes - we love sending our community’s work out into the world! Please note that customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. Most brands are currently not shipping to the US due to the changes in the customs charges as these are now paid at source. Please email at shop@thecuratedstore.co.uk to confirm before ordering.

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.

If this happens. Please contact us right away with photos so we can put things right. Every brand we work with is independent, so we handle each issue personally and with care.
