My single oven mitts are designed with my hand painted illustrations. Bound to pack a punch in the kitchen and a pop of colour. Long enough not to burn your arm. They are sewn with a heatproof layer internally.From this, they protect from contact heat only, they are not flame resistant. Wash at 40 degrees, flat dry, do not use when damp or wet, keep away from fire

Our pop-up location and online platform give you the chance to discover brands that are unique, made with love, not mass produced.

Yes - we love sending our community’s work out into the world! Please note that customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. Most brands are currently not shipping to the US due to the changes in the customs charges as these are now paid at source. Please email at shop@thecuratedstore.co.uk to confirm before ordering.

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.

If this happens. Please contact us right away with photos so we can put things right. Every brand we work with is independent, so we handle each issue personally and with care.

Yes, absolutely! Many of our brands who have popped up with us now feature on our website. We love it when customers continue to support our brands once they have moved out of the Store at the end of their month.

Is the creative venture of artist Alex Kelley, who began her artistic journey at The City and Guilds of London Art School, specialising in printmaking. 

Established in Singapore in 2011, the brand draws inspiration from the vibrant colours and unique light of the island. Alex's love for painting prawns, a recurring motif in her artistic career, led to the creation of the brand. Indigo Prawn offers a range of quirky, hand-painted homewares, including tea towels, oven gloves, aprons, trays, and more. Each piece reflects Alex's passion for the sea and nature, with designs that are clean, simple, and bright, underlining her love of colour.
