Frequently asked questions

What is The Curated Store?

We are an ever-evolving pop up shop in the Cotswolds that brings together beautiful, independent brands, each chosen for their story, craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Our pop-up location and online platform give you the chance to discover brands that are unique, made with love, not mass produced.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes - we love sending our community’s work out into the world! Please note that customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. Most brands are currently not shipping to the US due to the changes in the customs charges as these are now paid at source. Please email at shop@thecuratedstore.co.uk to confirm before ordering.

How long will delivery take?

Each maker/brand ships a little differently, but most orders arrive within 3–5 working days in the UK. You’ll receive dispatch emails and some brands offer a tracking link once your parcel is on its way.

Can I return an item?

We want you to love every piece you choose, but if something’s not quite right, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.

What if my item is damaged or incorrect?

If this happens. Please contact us right away with photos so we can put things right. Every brand we work with is independent, so we handle each issue personally and with care.

Can I buy directly from the brands you feature?

Yes, absolutely! Many of our brands who have popped up with us now feature on our website. We love it when customers continue to support our brands once they have moved out of the Store at the end of their month.

Karina Tarin Art Prints

Karin is a figurative artist based in Oxford, UK, working from a garden studio where she paints in oils.

She has been drawing and painting from an early age, encouraged by her artist grandmother, who taught her to sketch and gave her first paints. Largely self-taught, her work is informed by a psychology degree, a brief period at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Grasse, a love of colour and opulence, and a longstanding fascination with medieval and Renaissance art.

For most of her adult life, she worked in marketing, until a serious illness prompted her to re-evaluate her priorities. In 2021, she left her desk job and returned to painting full-time.

Since then, she has exhibited across the UK, including Oxford, Brighton, and London, and her paintings have been acquired by collectors in the UK, Europe, and the United States.
