Bringing some colourful energy to your planning, but this time in a new A5-sized weekly format.  This weekly planner has easy-to-tear-off pages and is perfect for keeping by you on your desk, by the phone or even in the kitchen for shopping list or chore reminders (because even the boring jobs can be written on something nice and cheerful!). 

The fruity pattern - a mix of apple and blackberries - is understated on this pad because you really do need as much space a possible when planning for a week on a pad this size.  But the original inspiration was nostalgic cookbooks, handwritten recipes and traditional countryside pictures.  So hand-drawn like home-cooked and a lighter colour palette to feel a little bit retro and to let the brightness of the colourful fruits really shine.

Just as with the larger planner pads, the idea with the weekly planner is that the boxes can provide a little bit of structure, but that you can use them for whatever you need that day, giving you the opportunity to divide up your daily tasks and other priorities into manageable sections.  So you can meal plan on one side and write your list on the other, list tasks, chores or other activities and keep useful info for that week right next to it. 

Each pad has 50 identical pages, printed on recycled 100gsm paper so it’s beautifully smooth and can easily cope with you highlighting things or using a more inky pen to write with.  In fact the printer who made these specialises in eco-printing, and uses vegetable oil based inks to print the pattern lovely and crisply on the page.  The writing panels are ever so slightly see-through, so you can see the pattern underneath, but it’s only very faint so you can still very easily read everything you’ve noted down. The notepad is also backed with recycled board, which gives it some rigidity but also means it’s a fully recycled and recyclable product too! And to top it off it will arrive with you wrapped in a recycled paper belly band, which is also fully recyclable.

These pads are a great gift-able size, being A5 they’re easy to post and whilst they work great as part of a gift set (especially with the matching Recipe Notebook or List Pad) they’re a brilliant unique but also budget-friendly gift for a colleague, an elegant Secret-Santa surprise, or even a pretty but practical thank you for a teacher.  I’m a firm believer that a beautiful piece of patterned stationery really is a gift for nearly all situations!
